Installed  Argunet on 32 bit Windows 10 but on installing plugins when clicking on the FINISH button (the NEXT button being greyed out) I got the following error message:

An error occurred while collecting items to be installed
session context was:(profile=profile, phase=org.eclipse.equinox.internal.p2.engine.phases.Collect, operand=, action=).
No repository found containing: osgi.bundle,YWorks,1.0.0
No repository found containing: org.eclipse.update.feature,org.argunet.client.feature.yexport,1.0.0
No repository found containing: org.eclipse.update.feature,org.argunet.client.feature.ygraphlayouting,1.0.0
No repository found containing: osgi.bundle,org.argunet.client.layout.algorithms.YWorksBasedLayouter,1.0.0
No repository found containing: osgi.bundle,org.argunet.client.layout.algorithms.YWorksHierarchicLayouter,1.0.0
No repository found containing: osgi.bundle,org.argunet.client.yexport,1.0.0

Repeated attempts to install plug-ins end up with the same error message.

Grateful for any assistance.

Dear Robert, sounds like a network problem — on your or on our side. We’ll check whether the plugins are available. Best, Gregor

Dear Robert,

unfortunately, I could not reproduce the error & apparently everything is fine with the plugin-server. Perhaps it has sth. to do with network/firewall-issues on your side. (Although argunet uses a normal http-connection for installing plugins.) If possible, try to install the plugins from another network and/or check your firewall setting w.r.t. what it allows argunet to do.

Perhaps, this error is due to slow network-connections. Could you please try the following: Find the directory where you installed argunet on your computer. There you should find a file "configuration/config.ini". Open it with a file-editor of your choice and add the following two lines into the file:

org.eclipse.ecf.provider.filetransfer.retrieve.readTimeout=10000
org.eclipse.ecf.provider.filetransfer.retrieve.closeTimeout=10000

then save it, restart argunet & retry installing plugins.

Best,
Sebastian

What about this URL -> org.argunet.client.pluginsite/p2.index ?

Hi all,

I recieve the same errors lines when I try to update.

I have used wireshark and I can see the next info :
So the problem is over this URL, I've tried to browse on inet browser and I get : Firefox can't find the server at org.argunet.client.pluginsite.

I love this app but I cannot print any map argument. Please help.

Hi Javier,

the server is up & running (try "ping update.argunet.org”). We’ll check tomorrow whether the Tomcat server is fine and suggest a solution in the following days.

Thanks for using Argunet!

Best
Gregor

Hi Javier,

I've just tried to reproduce this error, but unfortunately was not able to. The server is fine. Some other folks had similar problems & it seems that a too slow response-time of the server is the source of some trouble. Could you try what I suggested earlier to Robert (see https://groups.google.com/d/msg/argunet-users/Wy42xrbzv7I/Zk289e0OBAAJ) and tell me whether it solves the problem?

Best,
Basti
