I really like using argunet. What bothers me however, that all the
information I give the map can't be exported to a text document. I
find the export as a picture to limited. I would like to use argunet
maps as a markup for writing essays or a thesis.
Thanx
Hi Xenia,
Thanks for the request! So far, we've merely implemented an export
functionality for individual arguments. By clicking on the small
triangle in the upper right corner of the argument view, you open a
context menu (cf. screenshot at http://groups.google.com/group/argunet-users/web/argunet_clipboard1.jpg).
Select "Copy full argument to clipboard". In Word, for example, use
"Paste Special" from the menu and the option "formatted text (RTF)" in
order to paste the full argument into your Word document. This is how
we currently retrieve the reconstructed arguments from Argunet.
Although this works quite well, an export functionality for entire
debates which transforms all arguments into a text document at once is
on our ToDo-list. I hope this information is helpful.
Best,
Gregor
