Modifying Argunet source code?

Has anyone been able to successfully download, configure, modify, and build the Argunet Editor source code?

I recently discovered Argunet Editor and think it is a very nice application, but there are also a number of UI enhancements that I think would make it even better. I am trying to set up a dev environment for the source code I downloaded from SourceForge, but have so far been unable to get it to compile successfully. The YWorks stuff in particular seems to be a problem, although there are a few other issues possibly related to Tomcat dependencies, JAR references, JRE versions, etc.

If anyone knows of any instructions on how to successfully build the source code, please let me know.
