Dear fellows,

Although we have already discussed your presentations during our recitation this week, I just wanted to put down the major guidelines in writing for you in advance of your presentations during the Argov Seminar on Sunday (13:30-15:00).

1) The presentations should be 4 minutes (we will time you to make sure that you are on track).

2) The presentation should include the following elements (in the order that you think is most effective): the project title, group members, reason for selecting the issue to research (vision, description of problem or challenge etc.), research question, methodology and major findings, and the solution. Please make sure to include at least one minute on the solution. Try to come up with an interesting opening that draws the audience in right from the start.

3) We recommend using Powerpoint/Prezi, but please don't have too many slides and don't read from them. You should use the visual presentation as an aid in outlining your presentation and to provide graphics/data etc. that you want to share with the audience. Remember that you will also have the handout page to provide more detailed information (abstract etc. as well as your contact information) to the audience.

Looking forward to hearing your presentations and to having everyone participate in providing constructive feedback.

Shabbat Shalom,
Alisa
