Please forgive me. I am structural engineer who is responsible for the IT in our small office. I am somewhat computer literate but not advanced.
We recently changed out the CPU for our email server and copied over the 'C:\ProgramData\ArGoSoft\MailServer.Net\_users\_Default' folder for all users.
The CPU use started getting bogged down and was 100% most of the time. We then found this recurring hundreds of times in the log file -
-ERR Invalid parameters (Could not find file 'C:\ProgramData\ArGoSoft\MailServer.Net\_users\_Default\<user name>\Inbox\8ef21eb86799411daa261b9e728bed0d.eml'.)
[POP3 000012 02-02-22 09:18:48] RETR 84
We tried some of the built in maintenance options to see if it would correct the problem. It didn't. As a last resort we deleted each user and reestablished the accounts. This worked for a couple of days. And, now the error is back and bogging down the CPU.
Any suggestions on how to fix this?
We are running Argosoft MailServer.NET, with Microsoft .NET Framework version 4.8.04084 installed, Windows 10 Pro, Version 21H2, OS Build 19044.1503, 16 GB RAM, Intel Core i5-7500T @ 2.70 GHz
Thank you for any help you can provide.
