A while back I asked about a guest book, counter etc for my daughters
website. Immediately Dave Edwards and Robert Hampton dived in with very
useful information and now her page is up and running, with the minimum of
code using cgi - perl, it all relies on her university server so I can not
use it.

I got one from somewhere (http://www.patils.com) using LiveFORM
technology and JavaScript routines.

BUT I can not get it to work!!!!!!
I must admit I have not being trying long, perhaps a couple of hours, but
when your knowledge is very limited and you do not have much time. . .

Any way it is huge, with the minimum of information about how to use it.

Come on Argo - give us a guest book - I am sure many of your members would
use it.

Regards
Fionn

Well JavaScript doesn't work with anything but WebsterXL on the Acorn so you
might have it working and not know it! (unless you've tried it on
MSIE/Netscape on the PC).

www.lpage.com do a free guestbook - have a look at the one on my site. Very
few people sign guestbooks though - so sign mine if you go! ;o)

You could otherwise try a feedback form - Argonet do those and you get
Emailed the results.
