is the Amateur Radio Emergency Service® in the ARRL Illinois Section (ARES-IL®) - This is an announcement-only group intended for our ARRL appointed Section, District and local Emergency Coordinators, Official Emergency Stations and key ARES-IL staff, and those interested in ARES-IL. information and periodic bulletins. 

Bulletins issued here are primarily related to the iLLINOIS ARES regular and emergency HF Net, normally held on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month at 1630L time on 3905 kHz LSB.(Alternate 7230 kHz LSB if needed).

ARES-IL® Members are encouraged to register and edit their own email settings in this alternate alert email and is an irregularly used alternate backup to the Yahoo reflector.
