After a blazing November, Apple TV+ was pretty quiet in December when it came to worthwhile new releases, relying instead on the second halves of The Buccaneers, Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, and Slow Horses to keep subscribers entertained. What that means is that we don't have any new entries on our list of the best shows and movies to watch on Apple TV+ as we enter 2024, but that will change in January with the releases of the British crime drama Criminal Record (Jan. 10) and the World War II fighter pilot series Masters of the Air (Jan. 26).

If you find travel shows too packed with things like "wonder" and "enthusiasm" from their eager hosts, then take a tour of the world with Schitt's Creek's Eugene Levy. As the title implies, Levy would rather loaf around in the comforts of his temperature-controlled home, but here he's visiting beautiful spots like Finland, the Maldives, and Venice, complaining about the weather the entire time. But that's the attraction of the show; Levy's whining is actually more of a draw then the spots he's in, making this less of a travel show and more of a one-man play. -Tim Surette [Trailer]

The whole idea of work-life balance gets revisited with a technological twist in this sci-thriller that will make you want to quit your day job. Mark (Adam Scott) works at Lumon Industries, where a new procedure implants a chip into employees' brains that severs their consciousness into their work life and personal life, splitting their life in two so that neither knows what the other does. Obviously, Lumon is up to no good, and as the employees get closer to the truth, the line between their work lives and personal lives blurs. Scott is joined by a tremendous cast that includes Patricia Arquette, John Turturro, and Christopher Walken, and Ben Stiller and Aoife McArdle work magic behind the camera with one of the best-looking shows in a while. It is WEIRD, yet weaves a complicated conspiracy that will have you hooked. -Tim Surette [Trailer]

Is there a way to see My List of shows/movies I've added in Apple TV+? All the other streaming services I've used (Netflix, Prime, Paramount+, Disney+, etc) have a dedicated "My List" page in their apps where you can see all the titles you've added. Apple TV+ doesn't seem to have that. It has "Up Next", but that only shows new episodes. I want to look at shows I've already watched, maybe watch them again, but I have to Search for them right now, and that doesn't seem right.

We'd be happy to point you in the best direction. Sounds like you have some feedback regarding shows you've added to Up Next. The behavior you've currently described is normal and expected at this point in time.

Old Apple ID is no longer recognized as valid on icloud.com or appleid.com--yet on my phone, both the icloud sign-in and the Apple ID sign-in will not let me input the new Apple ID no matter what I do. It demands the password for the old, invalid Apple ID email, with no option to enter in the new email. At a loss . . .Thanks for any help!

Though Apple TV+ is still pretty new to the game, it's quickly established itself as one of the best streaming services around, with critically acclaimed shows like Ted Lasso and Severance. Whether you're looking for something to watch with the whole family, a thrilling mystery to take your mind off the real world, or some good old-fashioned star-studded prestige drama, we've got you covered with the highlight picks on Apple's streaming service. Is anybody else having a probelm pairing an Apple Pencil. I insert it into my new 2gen iPad Pro 12.9 and it briefly shows the dialog to Pair and then shows it connected, but then disconnects, and then I get an Error that the Pencil took to long to pair. Then it doesn't work.

After one year i tried to use my pencil again and i have the same kind of problem. First i got messages there wa sonly 3% battery left. Charging didn't helped. I tried a reset of the ipad pro even a hard reset, nothing helped. I went to the apple store and they couldn't help, they don't know if there is a problem and the warranty was expended.(14 months, pffffff ) Back home i tried to charge the pencil true USB with the adaptor and after 15 tries of plugging it in and out of the ipad suddenly i got connected for 7 seconds, then disconnected again, and then connected again for a few seconds. Because of the short period of connection i could see that the battery of the pencil was at 100 % again but still it can't keep the connection. The icon of bluetooth at the top of the ipad is blinking all the time. After awhile the same problem of the beginning had came back and I get an Error that the Pencil took to long to pair. And again the same pairing problem came back. Ipad sees the pencil but it can't pair with it. Its a brand new pencil i only used it once when i bought it and left in the box for over a year. So it must be a hardware problem, so apple fix it please.

In June 2017, Apple appointed Jamie Erlicht and Zack Van Amburg to head their newly formed worldwide video unit. By November, Apple confirmed that it was branching out into original scripted programming when announcing straight-to-series orders for two television shows: a reboot of the anthology series Amazing Stories by Steven Spielberg, and The Morning Show, a drama series starring Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon.[3]

Some of the best shows on Netflix are foreign language shows. Indeed, Netflix has quite a diverse selection of TV shows that come from other countries. British TV shows, in particular, are a category of their own. While still in the English language, these all have a distinct British look, feel, and tone. Naturally, they also feature British actors.

Not every show that appears to be a British production on Netflix is indeed one: shows like Bridgerton and its spinoff Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, for example, are American productions. If you're curious about what's available on Netflix in terms of British series, we have curated this list of the best British TV shows on Netflix. They include new and older titles across different genres, but each is entertaining in its own way.

The four Cirque du Soleil shows run year-round and each is an unforgettable experience with no two being alike. Their distinct style makes the shows at each of the MGM Resorts a part of a memorable Las Vegas vacation. There are performances for everyone - from family-friendly to adults-only programs.

As children, many of us were told to "eat your vegetables because they are good for you", and the adage "an apple a day keeps the doctor away" is still quite popular. Recently, many studies have provided the scientific backing for both of these very common phrases. In the early 1990's, researchers examined well over one hundred epidemiological studies relating to diet and cancer, and in 128 of 156 dietary studies, fruits and vegetables had a significant protective effect against a variety of different cancers [5]. They found that those who consumed low amounts of fruits and vegetables were twice as likely to have cancer compared to those who ate high amounts of fruits and vegetables. Recently, a study linked intake of fruits and vegetables with a reduced risk in breast cancer in woman in China [6]. In this population based, case-control study of women in Shanghai, pre-menopausal women who ate more dark yellow-orange vegetables and more citrus fruits tended to have lower breast cancer risk. Fruit and vegetable intake also appears to have a protective effect against coronary heart disease [7]. Approximately 84,000 women were followed for 14 years and 42,000 men were followed for 8 years. They found that people who ate the highest amount of fruits and vegetables had a 20% lower risk for coronary heart disease, and the lowest risks were seen in people who consumed more green leafy vegetables, and fruits rich in vitamin C. Not only may a diet high in fruits and vegetables help prevent heart disease and cancer, but it may also help protect against a variety of other illnesses. For example, a diet high in fruits and vegetables may help protect against cataracts, diabetes, Alzheimer disease, and even asthma [8-10].

A major class of phytochemicals found commonly in fruits and vegetables are the flavonoids. Apples are a very significant source of flavonoids in people's diet in the US and in Europe. In the United States, twenty-two percent of the phenolics consumed from fruits are from apples making them the largest source of phenolics [13]. In Finland, apples and onions are main sources of dietary flavonoids, while in the Netherlands apples rank third behind tea and onions as top sources of flavonoids [14,15]. In a Finnish study of approximately 10,000 people, flavonoid intake was associated with a lower total mortality [16]. Apples were one of the main sources of dietary flavonoids that showed the strongest associations with decreased mortality.
