A limit of 1000 conversations per month is shared by all your connected WhatsApp business accounts. The day of the month that the limit resets depends on the date you first purchased a Marketing Hub or Service Hub Professional or Enterprise subscription. For example, if your subscription began on October 28, the limit will reset on the 28th of each month.

The WhatsApp API has a messaging window of 24 hours. If a customer contacts you, your business has 24 hours to respond. After that, you can only respond by sending templated messages. These are messages approved by WhatsApp.

You can view your Meta Business Manager when you complete the new WhatsApp onboarding experience in Genesys Cloud via the Embedded Signup Flow. For more information about how to manage your WhatsApp Business Account (WABA), see Meta Business Manager. For more information about the embedded signup, see Work with Embedded signup flow. With Meta Business Manager, you can perform tasks, such as verify your business, update phone number or business profile, and maintain your message templates and QR codes. First, ensure that you meet the Meta/Facebook business manager account and meet the valid phone number criteria.

The brand that interacts with WhatsApp users owns the business manager account. A business manager that a partner, integration resource, or ad agency owns is not accepted for customers. When you set up the WhatsApp Integration in Genesys Cloud, you must be able to log in to the Meta/FaceBook business manager. You must also have a post that can step through the Embedded Signup Flow to connect the relevant Meta Business Accounts and WhatsApp Business Accounts.

Make sure that you have valid phone numbers to register on the WhatsApp Business Platform, along with the WhatsApp display names to use for each number that you register. The phone number for your business must meet the following criteria:

An Official Business Account (OBA) displays a green check mark badge in its profile and chat thread headers. When you submit the OBA requests directly, Genesys no longer submits WhatsApp OBA requests on your behalf. You can submit these requests from the Meta business manager. For more information about how to submit requests, log in to Meta Business Manager. You can also access the following articles in the Meta business help center for instructions and guidelines.

You can run real-time monitoring of messaging and spending analytics of your WhatsApp business account. You can also view the metrics of all conversations on the Insights tab of the WhatsApp Manager. The real-time graphs enable you to look into the performance of each metric. For more information about how to view conversation insights for your WABA, see View conversation insights for your WhatsApp Business Account.

The messaging platform WhatsApp now has over two billion users worldwide. While primarily used for personal communication, many companies are realizing how useful it can be as a business tool. But is your organization using it to its fullest?

One of the strengths of WhatsApp for business is that it can work on multiple devices. Four devices and a mobile phone can link to the same account. However, this is only available when you open a designated business account.

This feature is great for small businesses. Larger ones may find it becomes restrictive as your company grows and you need more customer service representatives. WhatsApp Business does also not support the following features when working with multiple users:

The service has several statistics to let you gather insight into your business. It can list the number of messages sent and delivered, or even how many have been read. This lets you check how well the channel is being used and received.

Now you know the advantages of WhatsApp for customer service and more, think about if it would benefit your company. If you are a small business, you can start with the free program and then consider API integration as you grow. The improvements to communication channels are sure to improve customer retention and brand awareness.

Aivo should be your first stop for a WhatsApp API solution. We utilize AI to reduce your workload and improve customer satisfaction. Book a demo with one of our representatives to find out how conversational AI can help your business.

Downloading the WhatsApp Business application from the app store is easy, as we are all used to installing an app. The 3CX API integration is a little more involved but the steps are all fully documented in the WhatsApp integration guide. By spending half an hour getting the WhatsApp business platform API integration set up, your organization will benefit from so many additional features that it certainly is time well spent.

A WhatsApp Business profile is a fantastic addition to your organization's communication channels no matter the size. The stats outlined in the introduction attest to that. Whether you are a small business with a couple of agents replying to messages, or a large enterprise with hundreds, the WhatsApp 3CX API integration feature set makes it a no-brainer.

With the help of the API, businesses can connect their own systems to send automated transactional messages through WhatsApp. Marketers gain more control over messaging and can reduce their dependence on developers to manage integrations while seamlessly tracking the performance of their WhatsApp campaigns.

WhatsApp Business API is still in its early stages, and both the platform and marketers are exploring its possibilities. For now, its focus is on delivering user-initiated support messages and business-initiated transactional messages free of promotional content.

Easier said than done! Managing the API client requires more resources than some businesses have, especially if they want to focus their core development team on their own product roadmap and innovation.

Simply put, WhatsApp Business allows companies to safely and securely message their customers directly within the WhatsApp messaging platform. One advantage over SMS is that WhatsApp is tied directly to a single phone number and provides a branded business profile rather than a string of digits. This allows consumers to immediately know who they are chatting with or receiving messages from. WhatsApp also provides reliable delivery information, providing companies the additional benefit of knowing what messages have been delivered and, ultimately, read.

Since WhatsApp comes preinstalled on many smartphones worldwide, user adoption has skyrocketed and is continuing to grow. That means your customers are probably already using the app. To make that customer connection, all you need to do is set up a WhatsApp Business profile and associate it with your business number And because your business presence is tied to only one phone number (short codes not required!), you can easily include it in all of your marketing programs to entice more customers to make that direct connection with you.

Consider how WhatsApp is used by PATH, a global health non-profit based in Seattle. PATH has been working in Zambia to support the National Malaria Elimination Center with data collection, research, and community engagement. An early adopter of messaging, PATH knew that success would require the Zambian Ministry of Health to connect with frontline health providers through a channel that was simple to use and already employed by health workers. Their use of SMS showed incredible promise, and as usage of WhatsApp has increased in the region, PATH is adopting its use as a business application to assist with tracking data submissions, identifying reporting patterns, improving message targeting, and ensuring more secure and private connections.

In this guide you will find everything there is to know about WhatsApp Business Platform. You'll learn why WhatsApp Business Platform is the way to grow your business by delivering an exceptional customer experience.

WhatsApp Business App has now launched on Android and iOS but should your business use the new option? You may want to ask yourself these three questions before you switch and join the +5 million businesses on the platform already;

WhatsApp has over a billion and a half users; around 23.4m in the US and more in Europe. Not all will be your customers but if your business chooses to activate the option you need to test how long this new channel could take you. A channel that doesn't currently allow you to take money through it (WhatsApp has only been testing person-to-person payments in India along with other functions). Timely and not without its rewards but the time it takes you to return incoming enquiries is a key consideration. You may have to buy more technology too as WhatsApp Business works with one number so if you don't want to lose your personal contacts, you'll need a different number.

By far, India is home to Whatsapps largest group of users, +4x the amount of US users. If this is where you make your money, being on WhatsApp is less of a no-brainer and quite possibly mission critical. Europe is equally popular, but if your business is US-focused there may be better ways to spend your time and money right now.

Already seeing some creative uses by governments and business including concierge services, food ordering, medical consultations, helplines, WhatsApp Business App will help small and medium businesses get closer to their customers but it is not without cost or issue. There is currently one payment option (available in India), and that is UPI payments, while very popular it is by no means the only way to receive payments that businesses use today (or in the future). The app also offers no insights and reports for companies at the moment making the app feel somewhat unbusinesslike. Instead, the app relies on you to label customers to give you low-level data (including the number of messages read) but doesn't give you any data on them which is a shame and a missed opportunity for WhatsApp (perhaps down the line this will be rectified for a fee?!). Refunds are also an issue for many businesses as the app does not yet allow refunds which means a manual process for business owners. Combined these issues should give anyone significant pause before diving in.
