Aztec Area Plan

Aztec Area Plan is intended to guide future development of land owned by Aztec Land and Cattle Company, including nearly a quarter million acres in the area between Holbrook, Joseph City, Heber, and Snowflake. The plan describes future residential development as well as areas for potential wind farms, solar power plants, and other types of projects. The plan also includes information about existing industrial facilities as well as local area roads, natural gas pipelines, a fiber optic line, the railroad, power lines, electrical substations, and other infrastructure and conditions.

The Planning and Zoning Commission Public Hearing presentation will begin a 60-day review and comment period.
