Disgen Wind Farm P&Z Hearing -- Thursday, November 17
A public hearing for the Disgen Marcou Mesa Wind Farm has been scheduled for November 17 at 6 pm in the Board of Supervisors Chambers at the Navajo County Complex in Holbrook. The project is located from approximately six miles north-northeast of Joseph City to the southern border of Navajo Nation between Porter Road and State Road 77. You can find the application materials on the ARENA website, www.arenawhitemountains.info, as well as a link to supplemental documents on the Navajo County "Project Information" webpage. Disgen is seeking approval to not conduct a sound study and to reduce the setback from unoccupied properties from 1/4 mile to 1.1 times turbine height (about 550 feet).
