SATURDAY JUNE 18TH
NATIONAL MARCH AGAINST THE HOUSING
ACT AND FOR CONTROLLED RENTS.
ASSEMBLE HYDE PARK CORNER 12.00 MIDDAY.

March against government housing policy (over 150 MPs are landlords), march against estate-agents, property developers, landlords, corrupt local authority officials, etc...these parasites and attendant lickspittles, are contributing to rising rents, a desperate shortage of social housing, the closure of libraries and social centres, the loss of green space and the demolition of pubs and clubs. They are complicit in a process of social cleansing, by which London is becoming off-limits to the poor and to the families and communities that have lived here for generations. Gentrification is class war.

Bring pithy placards, bring neighbours, bring friends –
this is our city, these are our streets!

NB. HARINGEY CONTINGENT TO MEET AT TURNPIKE LANE AT 11.15AM OR SEE YOU DOWN THERE.

Also...
Over 1,000 UCL Students are on rent strike because they are being ripped off by a greedy administration that is turning education into a business - they will also be demonstrating in central London tomorrow. The plan is to meet up with them at some point in the afternoon
- please keep in touch for further info: https://www.facebook.com/events/1753960451490823/

**// MASS MOBILISATION \\** SATURDAY 18th JUNE, 1PM - meet on Torrington Square outside Birkbeck ready to have some fun... -- bring music + banners! flares + friends! --
