Hello,

I am new to this community but I do use Arelle for a while now.

I am using Arelle now to validate and export my filling package (IFRS Taxonomy) to Excel.
using the edgar renderer, Arelle exports my Excel file automatically to a folder called "out" which is created when I open my IXBRL report in Arelle.

However, I have an issue with the way my changes in equity table is presented in the Excel file:

instead of showing in the columns the members of the equity components (e.g. non-controlling interests [member], Retained earnings [member],Issued capital [member] and so on, I get the periods in the columns and the members of the equity components are spread and multiplied  in the rows.

currently cant figure out if this is a defect in the tool I am using for tagging, an issue with the way I tagged the report, or something else.

Thank you in advance for any help, I am out of ideas.

Idan

Hi Idan,

The EDGAR Renderer plugin was created by the SEC. Section 6.24.6 of the Edgar Filer Manual on the SEC website addresses layout of columns and rows. The SEC also has an email address for end user support (Structu...@sec.gov).

I hope that's helpful,

Hi Austin,

First thank you very much for the fast and concise reply.
From what you know, this particular issue is only relevant to the SEC filling right  (since it is a requirement coming from EFM)? do you know if this requirement is also relevant for ESMA?

Thanks,
Idan

The EDGAR Filer Manual applies to SEC filings, but the same is also true of the EDGAR Renderer. It was created by the SEC for viewing SEC XBRL filings. I can't comment on how the SEC renderer will behave with taxonomies from other filing jurisdictions.

> EDGAR Renderer enables investors to view the interactive data filings submitted under the US Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) rules that require the use of XBRL via the SEC website.
