Hello,

I'm new on arelle .

I have a requirement as following :

creating  a new taxonomy from Excel  File (template report) 

is there an excel plugin for this ?

Hi,

Arelle has plugins that can read Excel files. loadFromExcel.py is an example, but you would need to write some Python code to customize it to your needs.

Hi Austin,

I am trying to generate XML files (ixbrl package) using the excel plugin. Attached is my .xlsx file. Its giving me error. Could you please let me know if I am doing anything wrong here.
