Location of webcache on Windows

Hello,

I am running Arelle version 1.2020.06.11 64-bit on a virtual machine without internet access.

I want to add files to the cache so can be found by Arelle, e.g. supportive files from xBRL.org

The GUI has an option Tools \ Internet \ Manage Cache that doesn't do anything: no screen or message is shown.

Can I change to location in another way?

Where are those files stored, so I can add them myself?

Manage cache should open up the cache directory, in windows it defaults to C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Arelle\cache

you can set  the environment variable "XDG_CONFIG_HOME", this will set the directory 2 levels above the cache, if you use the environment variable to change the config home path, you might want to copy the existing  "C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Arelle" to the new location to keep your existing settings and cache.
