Hi all,

Just a quick question...

Now that ESMA has published the first MiCA White Paper Reporting Manual and taxonomy, I was wondering: is there any plan to add a dedicated “Validate ESMA MiCA” plugin or disclosure system to Arelle, similar to the ESEF one?

Thanks in advance for any info.

Hi Gustavo,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Arelle supports all formula validations defined in the taxonomy without requiring plugins, which appears to be the vast majority of the MiCA rules. The core team doesn't have immediate plans to implement "filer manual rules" (rules defined as plain text in a PDF rather than XBRL formula) for MiCA as we're focused on EDINET right now. That said, I’ve created a GitHub issue so you can track any updates, whether progress comes from the core team or the community.

Kind regards,
Austin Matherne
