Dear Arelle experts,

When validating ESMA CS tests with code G2-7-1_1 (TC2) and G2-7-1_2 (TC2) Arelle does not detect expected errors/warnings: [targetXBRLDocumentWithFormulaErrors] and [targetXBRLDocumentWithFormulaWarning].

These tests verifies the correctness of the validation results against the assertions (validation rules) defined in the ESEF taxonomy, prepared according to the Formula 1.0 specification and its modular extensions. But as said, Arelle does not return / does not find the expected results – only warning: [ESEF.RTS.Annex.II.Par.2.missingMandatoryMarkups].

Has anyone else encountered this kind of problem when running the latest ESMA Conformance Suite on the latest version of the Arelle/ESMA plugin?

Any comment or help will be very welcome.

Many thanks,
Mark

I also deal with identical issues with the new ESEF CS - I have the same problems with the mentioned tests with expected results (errors):  [targetXBRLDocumentWithFormulaErrors] and [targetXBRLDocumentWithFormulaWarning].
Can anyone help with this topic? Why does Arelle / ESEF plugin not detect this kind of discrepancies, errors?

Have any of you successfully validated the latest ESEF conformance suite with the latest version of Arelle (ver. 2021-02-02)?

Thanks,
Simon

This is fixed.

(It was not working when the formula messages for the local language were unavailable, e.g. command line missing --import esef_cor-gen-xx.xml for language xx.)
