Hi all! Now I'm finishing preparation of russian localization for Arelle. I want to share it. How it can be included to public Arelle distribution package?

Hi Mihail,

This is great!

To include in the open source distribution we’ll need to have the appropriate contributor agreement because Arelle is open source under the Apache 2 license.

As described on http://arelle.org/download/, if you are an  individual, not under employee or works for hire agreement (e.g. student), please use the Individual Contributor agreement, otherwise the Corporate Contributor agreement. The reason why you need to use the corportate agreement if employed is because employment agreements and employment laws give intellectual property rights to the employer, so it is necessary for the employer to be part of that agreement.

At last I can present full Russian (and absolutely free) translation for Arelle.

It includes source (PO) and compiled (MO) versions.

To use please unarchieve to Arelle installation folder "locale" subfolder, then switch lang in Arelle GUI to Russian.

Hope this can help someone!

Mikhail
