Good Morning!  

My name is Terra Timmerman and I am one of the superintendents for the 2024 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Archery Competition.  I would like to personally invite your FFA members who are also archers out to the competition to be held on October 19-20 at NRG in Houston.  This year, we are excited to announce that in addition to the target competition (paper face) that we are introducing a 3D competition.  Registration is open through October 10.  The competition is open to Texas residents ages 8-18 who have not graduated high school.  Qualified shooters may be members of Texas 4H, FFA, ASA, NFAA, JOAD and USA archery clubs.  If your FFA chapter doesn't have a shooting sports team, but you have individuals who would like to compete, we have a spot for them.  Registration is open until October 10 and links can be found at www.hlsr.com/archery
