Dear FFA Advisors and 4-H Leaders,

We are excited to invite you and your students to participate in the Battle on the Bosque Online CDE Contest, hosted by Iredell & Valley Mills FFA. This event is open to 4-H and FFA members from all states.

Contest Details

• Dates: March 2nd – 6th, 2026.

• Format: Online using e-scantrons.

Contests Offered

We are offering 18 different contests, with many providing full contest experiences or specific focuses:

• Full Contests: Cotton, Entomology, Farm Business Management, Floriculture, Nursery/Landscape, Plant ID, and Vet Science.

• Exam-Based: Ag Comm (2 exams), Ag Sales (2 exams), and ATMS (2 exams).

• Animals: Livestock (Placing, Keep/Culls, & Exam), Dairy Cattle (Pedigrees, Herd Records, Exam, and Live Placing), and Horse (Full Contest).

• Specialized Scopes: ENR (Exam & ID), Meats (Retail ID & Exam), Milk Quality (Exam & Problem), Forage (Everything except hay), and Wildlife (Everything except habitat management).

Awards

Recognition will be given to the Top 3 Teams and Top 3 Individuals in each category, as well as Sweepstakes awards. Contest materials will be made available to participants.
