Good morning Kelley,
I hope you had a great Labor Day Weekend! I'm reaching out to you again about the Texas Cattlewomen's Texas Beef Ambassador program. I know I've talked to you about this program before, but this year it's a bit urgent. Every summer, the TBA program is sent to each Texas agricultural teacher across the great state of Texas. This year, we've noticed a significant increase in communication bounce-back alerts. With the help of the Agriculture Teachers Association of Texas, you can assist me in spreading the word about this program to Texas high school seniors so they have the opportunity to become advocates for the beef community.
Our program offers a scholarship opportunity for Texas high school seniors to become beef ambassadors, representing the beef industry. As beef ambassadors, students will advocate for beef nutrition, food safety, and stewardship practices to consumers.
This program is a great way for students to gain experience in public speaking, teamwork, and promoting a cause they are passionate about. I have attached the program application for you to share with any seniors or agriculture teachers who might be interested.
