Good Morning ,

Can you please send this out to your area?

Dear Instructors and Students,

We are excited to invite you to the Rockwall FFA Welding Rodeo, taking place on April 9th. Registration is now open through JudgingCard, and we encourage schools to sign up early to secure their spots.

This year’s event will feature buckles, banners, and prizes awarded to the top welders in each category provided by Mitchel Welding Supply. We are pleased to have Rich Depue and Cert Weld Testing on-site to inspect weldments and provide official student certifications.

  • Certification Cost: $20 per test
  • Student Recommendation: Students are encouraged to take two tests, one SMAW and one GMAW
  • Instructor Benefit: Instructors who volunteer at the event will receive their 8-hour certification renewal at no cost
  • AWS Certified Welder tests available for the first twenty to sign up

Lunch will also be available for purchase on JudgingCard and during the event.

We hope you will join us for a day of skill building, competition, and professional growth. Thank you for supporting hands-on learning and opportunities for students pursuing careers in welding and skilled trades.

See the link below for registration:

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.

Sincerely,
Cole Sawyer
