🎤 Virtual Script Writing & LDE Workshop

📅 Saturday, July 12

🕓 4:00–7:00 PM (Central Time)

💻 Virtual | Recorded for all registered participants

If you’re looking to improve your speaking event teams this fall, I’d love for you to join me for a three-hour deep dive into script writing, contest strategy, and the rules that matter.

We’ll cover:

✅ Ag Issues

✅ Employment Skills (Job Interview)

✅ Prepared Public Speaking

✅ Extemporaneous Speaking

✅ Ag Advocacy

✅ Public Relations

We’ll break down contest rules, scoring rubrics, script structure, portfolio development, question preparation, and the small details that often separate average teams from state and national contenders.

Every registered participant will receive:

📂 National qualifying and championship scripts

📂 Ag Issues portfolios

📂 Employment Skills documentation

📂 Public Relations and Ag Advocacy examples

📂 48 agriculture-based extemporaneous topics

📂 Training schedules, script review, and additional coaching resources

🎥 Can’t attend live? No problem! The workshop will be recorded, and every registered participant will receive the recording and all supporting materials afterward.

💲 Cost: $50 per person

👥 Limited to the first 150 registrations

Over the past 23 years, I’ve been fortunate to coach multiple Texas FFA State Champions, National Champions, and National Finalists in these events. Just as rewarding has been the opportunity to work alongside agriculture teachers across Texas, helping many of them coach their own state champions and national qualifiers.

I’m passionate about helping teachers build programs that give students confidence, develop their communication skills, and create opportunities that can truly change their lives. Whether you’re coaching these events for the first time or looking for a few ideas to help take your teams to the next level, I hope you’ll join us on July 12.
