A couple of questions for the group:
Is anyone working with FPGAs?
For your FPGA programming are you working with Linux or Mac as your desktop platform?
I would love to hear someone talk about the topic at one of our meetings. The FPGA market seems to be increasing more accessible to makers, hobbyists, or small companies. I would be interested to have a speaker talk about what it really takes to work with the tools and draw some comparisons to the more common tools/platforms that most of us are working with today.
I feel like I am bumping into the FPGA discussion more frequently and want to be a more informed. I might be interested in working with some of the boards if I could figure out a way to do with with a Mac or Linux platform vs. Windows.
I am throwing this out to the group as I am probably not the only person that would like learn more about this.
Thanks, JH
