Hi guys

For those of you wanting your very own TI eZ430 dev kit like we had at
the science hack day: https://estore.ti.com/eZ430-Chronos-433-Chronos-Wireless-development-tool-in-a-watch-P1734.aspx
(there are 433, 868 and 915MHz variant). They normally sell for $50
but every now and then they're on sale for $25.

TI also have a cheap, basic little development board for those on a
budget https://estore.ti.com/MSP-EXP430G2-MSP430-LaunchPad-Value-Line-Development-kit-P2031.aspx

Anyone know of the cheapest place locally to buy Arduino or Arduino
clone/derivative boards?

Happy hacking
Dirk

Here are some places to get stuff:

Netram - durban based reseller for sparkfun products. If you make a
large order, phone them and they may ship for free - they have done it
for me.

Yebo electronics - I've never bought anything from them but there's a
guy at work who sources most of his stuff from them - i have found
them to be a bit pricey though

RS components - probably the most comprehensive components place in SA
- not always the cheapest though but service is absolutely excellent -
I buy most of my stuff from them

Mantech - Never got anything from them but they seem decently stocked
and a bit cheaper than RS for some things
