Hi,

I am using Ardublock ( as modified by Carobot  http://www.carobot.cc/how-to/ardublock/ )  with Arduino IDE 1.6.12  on Ubuntu MATE 16.04.1.

It is a great tool to save the anguish of learning the syntax in detail.  I have completed stage one of a project to automate an astronomical observatory.  It was a demonstration to club members of the dome shutter controller.   The Arduino was in an ARDBOX ( http://www.industrialshields.com/open-source/plc-compacto/ ) which is an industrial grade package of a Leonardo board, I/O board and PSU for 5, 12 and 24 volt - all in a DIN rail housing with easy connectors and dip switches.

However there is a problem:   The on screen display area for the Ardublock modules (program) is limited.   I cannot scroll or drag down to the end of the main loop and have it stay visible.  It springs back.  In the small navigation window the representation of the program exceeds the area (vertical height) of the window.

The display area should grow as needed or be user defined.

A poor workaround is to separate a group of blocks and drag them into the safe area, edit and then re-attach in the main loop.

Is there a fix for this limitation?

As far as I know the only way around this is to keep making subroutines and stick the subroutines off to the right. There is no limit on the window size to the right.

I also love Ardublock. It is the best! but, it is getting old (so sad).

mBlock works for arduino and is based on later version of scratch.

mixly seems to be the latest block programmer out there, but I don't think it is open-source yet. I get a lot of Chinese software installed when I tried to install it.

Best wishes,
Andrew
