This survey is for information gathering.  You should fill this out even if you have no intention of ever going to a World Championship event.  We are trying to formulate our recommendation to give to Region 1 regarding the suspension of the Russian and Belarusian athletes. A you may know, many sports organizations have suspended Russia and Belarus from participating because of the war that Russia is waging against Ukraine, such as IOC (International Olympic Committee) and IOF (International Orienteering Federation), among many others. The first question is about what ARRL ARDF should recommend to Region 1 regarding suspending Russia and Belarus from international competitions. The second question is about whether you would go to Serbia depending on the decision of Region 1 regarding the suspensions of the RUS and BLR competitors. We are requiring your name and email address to avoid duplication. We will keep all names and emails confidential. All of the responses, without names and email addresses, will be available for everyone to see. RUS & BLR teams may compete for their country without playing their anthems or displaying their flags. RUS & BLR teams may compete as unaffiliated without any reference to a country. Russian (RUS) & Belarusian (BLR) teams MAY NOT compete in international ARDF events. What would you personally do depending on the suspension decision for the World Champs? Serbia voted against the war in the UN General Assembly but is not putting any sanctions on Russia and has increased flights between Belgrade and Moscow.
