It's come to my attention that the first Caltrain departing San
Francisco doesn't arrive in Mountain View until 9:30am. Therefore it's
going to be very difficult for many people to get to the space much
before 10. I see on the wiki that the event is scheduled to start at
9. I hope that the organizers will make allowances for this. It would
be less than ideal for someone arriving at 10 to find that the
schedule grid has already been filled out and the topics already
decided.

Ok I just went ahead and moved it unilaterally - based on similar comments from you and other folks.

It's possible to adjust it further if you think 10:30 is too soon for sessions - advise if so!

Also people have been talking about ride share for the same reason - 3 people so far mentioned that - so there's a ride share page also now.

If there's anybody who you think should go - please tell them - since we're so close!

It's an interesting request, I will pass it on to Dusty @ Google and see if he has any opinion - I figure the best we can do is ask.

I never knew there was a conference bike by the way. Is this a many person ride of some kind? Sounds like fun,

It's not really a realistic option, unfortunately :) The conference bikes are super slow and hard to maneuver. They're a fun novelty, but you wouldn't want to use them for actual transportation.

For people taking the Caltrain to Mountain View, your best options for
getting to the Dojo are:

1. Bike. You can take your bicycle on the train for no extra charge.

2. Walk. It's only a mile, so you should be able to get there before 10.

3. Light rail. If you can't or don't want to walk the whole way, the
VTA light rail will take you about 2/3 of the distance. You can ride
for free with your Caltrain ticket stub.

Worth adding to the wiki - anybody have a minute to throw it on there?
Strikes me that a "where is it and how to get there" page might help.
