WiildOs is the first GNU/Linux live/installable distro
that support the wiimote whiteboard for educational purposes.
It includes the best of the free and open source educational tools

Sul sito di Matteo il numero di versione passa da 1.4 a 1.05. Errore o
feature?

E' da intendersi come se fosse 1.5 sono stato obblligato a usare questa
nuova numerazione perchè wubi voleva così in maniera simile alla
numerazione di Ubuntu e.g. 11.04 se no dava una bella eccezione.
Scusate se questo genera equivoco ma tengo a sottolinare che il numero
delle release non è un numero decimale ma il punto è solo un separatore
quindi 1.5 è equivalente a 1.05 ma con un formato differente e che dopo
la 1.9 non c'e' per forma la 2.0 ma magari la 1.10 che è di gran lunga
dopo la 1.1 (9 versioni dopo)

Colgo l'occasione per dire che le release minori si chiameranno
1.05.1 in poi

Un altro dubbio che ho e se fare come lubuntu, mint e altre distro
derivate ubuntu di ereditare il numero di versione di Ubuntu e giocare
solo con la treza cifra
e.g. wiildOs-11.04-2: la seconda release di WiildOs basata su Ubuntu
11.04

Che ne dite? Comunque per passare dalla 1 alla 11 ci va un buon testing

Allora la velocità è dovuta al fatto che sto inseguendo le release
di Ubuntu, non sono contentissimo di questa decisione forse sarebbe
stato il caso di rimanere alla LTS 10.04 ma il kernel va avanti,
i programmi pure e voi insegnanti volete tutte le novità

A settembre uscirà Oneric e quindi mi ritoccherà fare una nuova versione
ma io non sono lo staff Ubuntu e quindi mi è molto complicato stare
dietro alle release

Un passo per facilitare la creazione della distro è quella di creare i
vari pacchetti che non ci sono in Ubuntu + quelli personalizzati e
metterli repository

Una volta fatto questo si può pensare a un autoaggiornamento (almeno
sui dispositivi in cui si può)
