DHBVN is advising to submit manual application for Direct Connection

Note: DHBVN is advising to submit manual application. Their site is not robust enough to handle the rush and is crashing.

Tomorrow security guard from our lane will visit each house, if you are facing problems with applying for direct connection, do mention that in the register.

If your reply is YES, then a group of volunteers will assist you applying for the same.

Please apply for new connection from DHBVN without any delay.

Note that ONLY DHBVN supply would be there. 

Mind that once DHBVN changeover, residents having DHBVN meter would be legal consumers of electricity. Government treats Illegal consumption of electricity severely. Therefore, It’s humbly advised to avoid that situation by applying for new connection. 🙏🏽

 

Steps to apply offline:

1) Ready following documents:

• Two passport size photo
  
• Identity proof (copy) : possession letter or allotment letter or sale deed document
  
• Ownership proof (copy) : Adhaar card or Voter I card or Pan Card or Passport
• In case of joint ownership NOC of any of the two owners who is not applying (on a plane paper) to be submitted stating that I have no objections to this application for new connection.

2) Demand Draft in favour of DHBVN 

Calculation of the amount payable:

Load × 1775 + 2840

Example: for 8KVA

(1775 X 8) + 2840 = 17,040 Rs

3) Physical forms are available at RWA office ( D-11/18 - Basement )

Or take a printout of the empty form attached in this email.

Or collect the printed form from me at B-70 (GF)

Also attached is a sample application form for reference.

Note while filling the form:

Circle: Gurugram II

Subdivision: G26 (South City)

Type of Supply: Permanent 

Category: Domestic (DS)

The filled application form needs to be submitted at  ( D-11/18 - Basement ), from there it will be picked up by DHBVN employees.

Please send the copy of authority letter that orders the replacement of the system, with copy to Ardee city replacing their supply of electricity. Else it may not be apply-able.

Here is the communication we got from DHBVN (attached)

Apart from this, as you are aware that DHBVN was not entertaining any direct connection application from ardee residents just a few days back, but now the entire machinery is supporting us to file the applications, so that they can take the next step.

I'm sure you are aware that how this all works, can't make big claims here, but you have to read between the lines. Only and only, for your benefit.
