DHBVN connection: Time to install new meters in Lane B3

Hi,

DHBVN has started installing new electricity meters in lane B2 since yesterday.

So next is turn for our lane B3, and to ensure that all those who have already applied get the new meters installed smoothly, please follow the next few steps:

1) Fill up the application tracker form so that we can ensure DHBVN installs your meter on priority: (filling this form will not take more that 2 minutes)

2) Keep the copy of payment receipt and other supporting documents ready with you, as DHBVN employees might ask for it, when they come to install the meter.
(those who have submitted "Property tax receipt" as ownership proof, may be asked to show copy of sales deed or buyers agreement)
* Tenants please ask your house owners to provide you copy of the documents

3) Those who have applied offline, by submitting the form at RWA office should also fillup the above tracker form (keep the Application number and Payment Receipt number BLANK)


And lastly, whose who are still waiting to apply, are requested to apply at the earliest.

We don't have the clear count on how many have applied offline/online, and how many are yet to apply, from our lane.

That is why it is very important for to fillup this form.


All - If you know someone who has applied, just pass on this link to them, or fill in this form on their behalf.
So that we can compile the list accordingly.

Till now only 13 people have filled up the form, that includes all 8 from block of 69, 70 and 71. This means from rest 21 blocks in the lane only 5 people have responded.

Is there any other way in which to motivate residents to apply for new connection?
They MUST realise that after the actual switch-over from RD to DHBVN, old meters of RD would be considered as stealing electricity of DHBVN. And there would be consequences of criminal proceedings, penalties etc.

DHBVN employees will be here in our lane to install meters, from 2:45 pm today

I'm going to handover the following list to them so that they can start installing. This is a list of applicants who have applied online, for offline applicants the installation will happen in the next slot.

Request you to be at home, or tell your neighbors to take readings on your behalf.
Some additional documents might be asked by DHVBN people, so your presence is needed.

I'm taking the printout of the application status page that is available online for all these 18 residents.

This is all that is needed as part of document right now.

So only someone has to be there at your place to sign for the meter readings.

Dear Amitji,

I am owner of B54 first floor. I have paid online RS 13,300 for connection to DHBVN on 26 the June. 
They have received payment under reference no. 817717428313 from Axis Bank. 
I have sent hardcopy to RWA office and sent WhatsApp message to Ms Chaitali.

Mr. Anil Sachdeva of B54 ground floor can take reading on my behalf as we are out of town.

The first set of meters (around 20) were installed in our lane yesterday.

Ranjana ji thank you for all your help in coordinating the same.

We know that there are many who have applied online and have submitted the hard copies at rwa office.

We will try to install meters for them today.
