Hi,

Have we unanimously decided to permanently lock the gate on one end of the lane, even during day time?

If yes, then in that case we might not even need two guards, instead only one is enough at the main gate.

If we fear that in presence of guards 24 hours a day, someone can walk into the small entrance on foot and do theft, then the whole idea of this paid security is bogus.

Ideally the guard should be present on both the entrances instead of locking it up and vanishing from his duty.

Dear Amit, Fellow residents,

You might be aware of increased instances of thefts in Ardee city, especially B Block. During the last 2 weeks there have been 3 thefts in 2nd lane and 2 in the 4th lane.

Residents along with the working group had approached police, which has increased vigilance.

SHO had visited B block, 2-3 times during this week and last and has directed / instructed that all gates leading to outside Ardee should be closed permanently. In line thereof the gate at the end of lane 2 has been permanently sealed and only gate at the end of 4th lane is open but guarded. Regarding gate in our lane he has instructed the small gate to be closed as well.

We have however, instructed the guard to only let the residents use that gate, accordingly, all maids, etc are not allowed to use the gate. All residents should also be encouraged not to use the small gate but enter the lane through the barrier side.

In case all residents concur (as suggested by Amit), we can reduce the number of guards, but please note this closure is a temporary arrangement only. The guard posted by Ardee for some time has also vanished.
