Hi!

I have tried to use the ardb deck builder, but I am having trouble
saving my inventory as html. It does however, save successfully as
csv.

When saving as html, the resulting file only contains the first 47
vampires (alphabetically). On the 48th line, the "Have, Want, Spare"
columns are filled in and the name of the vampire is not. The html
file source stops on "<a href" and does not have the link for the 48th
vampire or his/her name. The total of the vampires is listed as 0.

No library cards or library heading are shown at all.

Also, the inventory.xml file, though it contains all the crypt and
library cards that I have entered and saved (I have opened it in a
text editor), it does not display correctly in my web browser. It
simply shows a page which mostly has "??????", though the header
"Inventory" is displayed.

I don't know how to resolve this, as I am not an xml/html coder at
all. I have taken a brief look into the xsl files, but they look to be
ok as far as my lowby skills can see.

Help? Anyone else seeing this?

I am using Windows XP. In order to create an inventory.html file I
have selected "Inventory/Export to hmtl" in the deck builder.

If you need more information, please let me know.

Hi,

Thanks for the bug report. What version of Ardb are you using? Going
to Help|About will tell you this. Could you export your inventory
file as csv or xml and email me a copy? I can then use this to try
and track down the problem.

Could you please also send me this file to take a look at.

I think I've got everything I need now. I've taking a look at the
problem but can not figure out what is wrong right now. This one may
take a while.

Hi again. Which version of beta 2? Did you download it form
http://code.google.com/p/ardb/downloads/list or http://francois.gombault.free.fr/ardb/?
It seems that the characters are encoded incorrectly in the xml file.

Hi,

I think I have fixed the import of inventory.xml. Could you also send
me a couple of XML deck lists files to try?

Graham.

Hi,

The version just says 2 beta and has no more information in Help/
About. I downloaded it from http://ardb.googlecode.com/files/ardb_1_11_2007.zip
.

I am now uploading a test deck (random cards). The deck .xml and .html
files are showing fine, all be it in a different style (background
colour, font and layout) to what the inventory .xml and .html files
appear to be meant to be shown in.

Thanks for the ongoing support. :)

OK. I may now have a fix for this issue. I will try the decks you uploaded.

Graham.
