Dear Sam this morning I watched a discussion between members of UK Parliament and UK scientists on TV.  I took some notes.  They were all quoting from te IPCC report, so everything was hopelessly dated.  I was lucky if I heard the word methane mentioned, perhaps just once.  My notes are sketchy.  They supported the IPCC report.  The best scientific speaker was Emily Shuckbrough from the Royal Meteorlogical Society, the seconmd of nate Peter Williams of the Royal Society.  Emily stated that the release of ice in September from the Arctic was lowest in 2012,  what an admission I thought.  I will be reading the the Guardian newspaper on line to see what the thinking crics have to say.  You may wish to contact Emily and or Peter.  I will send you my notes in written form should you wish, they are not long.  I will send by air mail should you wish and can send me an address.  They may give a little clearer picture.
