A Dangerous Game in the Arctic

May interest. An overly-long, US-focused narrative with some new news on plans and preparations, but at least a reminder of Arctic importance for NATO security.

 

Noted:

1) the mention of Canada's 'promise' of many billions for Arctic military things, with no schedule/timelines of course. 

1) the odd 'oops': " The non-Arctic NATO members Norway and ....."

2) "In 2015, the United States did not have ships that could track Chinese naval vessels in the Bering Sea,..."

Surely, the US had submarines on station.
