On Wednesday, 1 December 2021 at 7.00 AM Eastern Time / 1.00 PM Central European Time, the International Peace Bureau is hosting the online event The Militarization of the Arctic: A Conversation with the Marine Arctic Peace Sanctuary (MAPS). This event will discuss what needs to be done to protect the Arctic from becoming an area of strategic confrontation, resource exploitation, and increasing militarization as the climate warms and the region changes.
