Watershed scale

Dear Friends,

I'm currently reading articles related to watershed hydrology with focus on watershed scale, small scale and large scale. I wonder if you could explain what small scale and large scale is ?

Please kindly state the size and measure of small scales and large scales. Is there any standard number for small scale and large scale watersheds?
