missing .rte files

Hi Everyone,

I have been trying to run ArcSWAT and the model has been crashing immediately.  I believe that the problem is due to missing .RTE files.  There is only a .RTE file for 1 out of my 13 subbasins in the project's TxtInOut folder.  I believe that there should be a .RTE for each subbasin correct?

Does anyone have an idea of how this could have happened?  I delineated the subbasin successfully, and wrote the .RTE files.  My only guess is that I used an imported stream network during watershed delineation, and am not sure if that has caused this issue?

Thanks!
-Grace

Hello Grace,
Did the error message show that you have a missing.rte file?
Nevertheless, you are correct, that it might be an issue as there should be multiple.rte files.
Can you do a little bit of troubleshooting: open your reach shapefile and check, how many reaches are in the attribute table. Now open the project database, locate the "rte"  (I do not recall the exact name) table and check, how many entries are there?
Best,
Natalja
