Hi, everyone.

I have successfully changed the values in my TextInOut files in the past using the Manual Calibration Helper. However, it no longer is doing what I think it should be doing. I am trying to re-run my program with future weather and land use, but want to set the calibrated CN and gw_delay values I got using SWAT-cup. However, even though it tells me the parameters are updated, the TextInOut files in the "scenarios/default" folder remain unchanged. I tried "rewriting swat input files" and no change. What am I missing? It is driving me crazy as I know I have done it before. The calibration helper is grayed out unless you have just run a simulation, so I'm disinclined to start over.

Thanks for any advice.

Hello,

You need to use the Rewrite 'SWAT input files' option under the 'Edit SWAT input' menu. It's usually good practice just to select all of the tables and then rewrite.

I'm having a slightly different problem...
I had to change some things there are not showed in the Manual Calibration Helper . So I've openned the Access Database and changed what I wanted to (specifically: the Raingages of each sub-basin). HOwever, when I do these changes directly in the Database it doesn't work. When I run and check the Sub outuput, the precipitation of each sub-basin does not correspond to what I had set.

How do I update my changes in the DB?

Thank you.

I have been using the "rewrite swat input files" after the manual calibration helper, but still have not seen the changes. It is supposed to change the text files in the "default" folder, yes? I shut down the program, and restarted, hoping it was just stuck, but the situation still stands.

It seems that the parameters were being updated in another SWAT project. I was working on two different watersheds: Project1 and Project2, yesterday, I ran a scenario in Project2. This morning, I re-booted the computer, and re-ran a scenario in Project1. However, when I opened the default textinout files in the Project2 folder, the changes I had intended to make in Project1 were there. No, I wasn't accidentally working in Project2...How to avoid this, or why it happened, I don't know. But at least I know it CAN happen, and I thought I'd share that knowledge with you all...

Open the project database in Access and look at the Master Progress table (I forget its name exactly), and make sure that the path to the working project directory is correct.
