Hi All,

Got this error (attached below).  Resolved it by changing from SSURGO soil to STATSGO soil. Any inputs on why the SSURGO soil did not work.

Thank you.

Dear All,
I am asking (copy and pasting) a very simple question as Mr. Vicente asked:

I ran SWAT model for 11 years of data that I have from daily observations. From 1992 till 2002.
However, I decided those ranges of years for warm up period, calibration and validation:

warming-up (2 years): 1992 – 1993

calibration period (6 years): 1994 - 1999

validation period (3 years): 2000-2002

My question is for calibrate and validated the model in SWAT-CUP, SUFI2. The TxtInOut simulated in SWAT should be for the 11 years, and then I just configure the observed files in SUFI2 for the 19994 -1999 for the calibration. Then after get the optimal parameters simulated the best range for the 3 years of validation: 2000 - 2002? That means, that I just run ArcSWAT one time and create just one project in SWAT-CUP.

The alternative process can be to run Arc-SWAT for the years that I want to calibrate, including the warm up period: 1992 - 1999. Create a project for this in SWAT-CUP.
Then after get the calibrated parameters, run Arc-SWAT for the validation period: 2000-2002. Create a project in SWAT-CUP for this period. And run with the optimal parameter value range.

My question which one is the correct process?

please suggest me the correct process...........

Thanking You

This error indicates a problem with your solar radiation data input file.

The same error happens to me, I am using databases of the Climate Forecast System Reanalysis (CFSR), with the format that SWAT requires.

When using the bases of the climato engine that ARCSWAT contains by DEFAULT, it runs perfectly and does not stop at any time, the simulation runs correctly.

The problem arises when I use the databases that I download from Global Weather Data for SWAT, with its format for SWAT. generates the error of "forrtl; sevete (64): inpit conversion error, unit 137, file C: \ users \ Jorge Guillermo \ Desktop \ Balances \ 1986 \ Scenarios \ default \ TxtInout \ slr.slr.", with which I read in the comments of the group that it is an error in the entry of the database of solar radiation data. but I can not find what the error is or how to solve it, do you know what file has to be modified?

you have a problem at the solar file. to check, just add the P and T data and turn the model again
