Hi, Dear SWAT users.

I have faced the following error, could you please help me. I have checked all the weather data but no mistake found. is there any code to find the exact location of the mistake?

I have worked with another hydrological model (WetSpa) and in this model, If an error happens we could just write a code to show the exact location of mistake.

So, could you please help me to find the problem.

thanks

Hello,
Do you run the debug version of the swat? Try using that version to locate the error.
On the other hand, you see the routine name and the line number of the error. If you want to find the exact line - just download the swat rev.664 source codes and open the indicated functions.
Not going into the details, I see that there was an error in the computation (maybe square route function), related to (maybe) mineral N, from (probably) .sub files or .bsn file. Try to rewrite your setup files, maybe it will help. Otherwise, you have to go into the source code to get a "hint" on what is going on.
And for your next question: no, there is no code that you can use to backtrack the error. Although it would be a great addition to the program!!! Please implement it! Please! Well, at least have an indicator of which sub/reach/hydro storage unit/hru is the source of the error, omg why is it still not implemented (joking... sadly...)?! :D

All the best,
Natalja

Thanks, dear Natalja

I should say that in the watershed delineation part the following error happened but I just ignored it,  how can I fix this error first? it might be the cause of the last error I asked you before (Rev 664 forrt 1 error 65 floating invalid), the second question I have is where can I download the swat rev.664 source codes, because I could find only SWAT2012 rev. 670 in the SWAT website.

Error number 7
Error message: exception of type 'system out of memory exception' was thrown. module name: mSWFlow X = 525427. 6937
function name: AddstreamNew
procedure (error line or description): 4

thanks,
All the best

Hello,
Well, it seems that the watershed delineation went wrong and you have the error tracing back to the initial subbasin setup. Just start a new project and repeat all the steps. If you get an error in the delineation - try to fix it and then move on to the next steps.,
The source code code can be downloaded: https://swat.tamu.edu/software/swat-executables/ (download source code button)

Best,
Natalja

I keep getting that error message "Error 65, Floating Invalid" when I try to RunSWAT on Arcswat. I have been stuck for days. And I need to make my presentation in a few days time. From the things I read online, it is a soil database error. I tried to fix it with optimising the Soil Depth Max Sol_ZMX values to match with the last layer of sol_z2. Doesn't still work. It's tiring. And frustrating.
