Dear All,

I am using ArcSWAT2012 with ArcInfo 10.  My study area is a sub-basin in the Himalayan river.  I have been facing this issue in the "Write Input Tables".  After I input my weather data, I click on "Write SWAT Input Tables" and I select all tables to create.  While writing the Soil Data, I get an error like this.

"Syntax error in INSERT INTO statement.: IN, mWriteInputFiles.sol"

Based on the suggestions on this error from earlier posts, I have filled all empty spaces with 0 in the "usersoil" table in SWAT2012.mdb.  But, I still get this error.

Please help on this as I am stuck with this.  Thanks a lot.

Best Regards,
Vivek

I was able to solve this error.  I was making those edits (in usersoil table) in SWAT2012. mdb in the SWAT folder in C drive, which was a mistake.  I made similar edits in SWAT2012.mdb present in the project folder and issue was resolved.

Thanks,
Vivek

Hi

I had this error as well
I just remember that I checked my table usersoil (I guess you're also using it)
I had some negative values somewhere
I know that arcSWAT also does not accept empty spaces (put 0 instead).

Hope this helps,
Jeremy

Dear Vivek,

I have the same error and I do not totally get what you mean. I have all rows and columns filled and the values appear correctly under edit swat input --> databases --> user soils.
My SWAT2012.mdb is under C:\SWAT\ArcSWAT\Databases\SWECO\20160424 (I think this is the project folder?).
Is there another place where I can also edit??
I added my SWAT2012.mdb soil table as an Excel file.

Best,

Timo
