SWAT Reservoir output

I'm currently working with the SWAT model and analyzing the reservoir output file. I want to better understand how the outflow values reported in this file are computed?

Specifically, I'm looking for clarification on the following:

• What does the Flow_out column represent in output .adb file? Is it regulated flow, spillover, or a combination of both?

• How does SWAT calculate outflow based on the reservoir parameters (e.g., RES_K, RES_PVOL, RES_EVOL, RES_NSED, etc.)?

• Is there a way to differentiate between release for demand (e.g., irrigation) vs excess outflow due to overflow?
