Error of removing old ArcSWAT

Hi, SWAT users

I removed ArcGIS 9.3 yesterday and am trying to install the newest version of ArcSWAT.

However, the old ArcSWAT doesn't allow me to remove it and I had error message every time and I couldn't remove it.

The new version of ArcSWAT can't be installed either.

Does anyone have the same problem?

I DID have this problem. I used a microsoft tool and it worked great.

 

It was here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2438651

but it looks like they replaced it with a new one so you have to click the link. Hope it works!

This freeware would also do the trick at completely uninstalling ArcSWAT.

Good that this tool is available.  I've had this problem with past versions, and if I remember,  the key was simply to uninstall ArcSWAT before uninstalling ArcGIS, for those of you who are about to do the transition. 

My solution at the time was the brute-force one, meaning I had to re-install ArcGIS in order to uninstall ArcSWAT, then re-uninstall ArcGIS.  This took a lot of time -- better to have the tool below.

Problem solved by removing all the softwares related to SWAT(SWAU_CUP, i_SWAT and SWATplot)
