R16 Granular Exchange Failing

Environment:
Win2008 R2
D2D R16 installed on box
Same credentials to backup and restore.
Backup logs are successful.
Granular backup log creation says successful.
We cannot restore individual email from the backup sets. This problem
may include email boxes and the full databse recovery/restore also.
They have not been attempted.
Any help would be appreciated.
