Hi Carlos,
An email was sent to you yesterday with some recommendations, you
should have received it from
Technica...@ca.com.
From the logs we reviewed we observed that you previously had ARCserve
D2D On Demand and ARCserve D2D Post-r16 Alpha release installed in the
same system and were backing up to the same destination.
Please change the backup destination and start with a new backup set,
it’s not recommended to continue backing up to the same destination
which has recovery points created by ARCserve D2D On Demand and
ARCserve D2D Post-r16 Alpha Release using ARCserve D2D R16.0.
You can perform the following steps to change the backup destination
and start with a new backup set:-
1) Log into the D2D Home Page
2) Launch the D2D backup settings
3) Under Protection settings, specify the new backup destination.
While specifying the new destination please make sure you do not point
it to a location which already had pervious recovery points. Also make
sure you select the radio button which specifies the next backup type
as full backup.
You can also refer the following section of the User Guide:-
https://support.ca.com//cadocs/0/CA%20ARCserve%20D2D%20r16-ENU/Bookshelf_Files/HTML/usergde/cad2d_specify_backup_destination.htm
Let us know if you have additional questions.
Regards,
Ajay
