D2D r16 update 7, error code 131

Many of our workstations regularly fail the d2d backup to this error:

 

Error code: 131 [An attempt was made to move the file pointer before the beginning of the file.]

 

Only cure what I've found is to remove the old backup directory and start a new backup from scratch.

 

The backup destination is a 12B NAS drive.  What exactly does this error mean?

What D2D version do you have on these workstations? can you send the log file "afstor*.log" to me via email?

If you are at r16.0 update 7 you probably need to apply patch RO53648.

Hi, we run r16 update 7, I found that patch yesterday and I’m applying it to the workstations today. Hopefully it fixes the problem.
