Hi all,

After fixing the problem with thermistor this is what happends in the middle of the print.I now have two fans ,one for upper end of barrel which is blowing all the time, and the other one blowing at the print if neccesary.nozzle is 0.35,and it all starts ok but at this point is messes things up...any ideas?

all the best

Hi,

When blocking happens, the first thing should always be to check the temperature of the heatsink.

If it's uncomfortably hot (ie. you are not able to hold your finger on it for 30second), then you can suspect temperature issues (insufficient cooling).

After you ruled out the temperature issue, the next target is contemination.

The symptom is fairly similar: you get random blocking.
(The filament is flowing-mixing inside the nozzle so it is possible to print hours before the blocking occurs, next time only some minutes)

To clean the nozzle:
1: submerge into ethyl-methyl ketone overnight (or acetone)
2: cold plug

Option 1 is easier.

Please keep us updated about your progress.

Hi all,

Various problems have occured with this print, some are my fault some are due to settings used when slicing, anyway it breaks dow to this...

This printing issue was done by small extruder gear slippage...

Now i changed the nozzle from 0.35 to 0.5mm because my filament was chowed .
Temperatue was ok,heatsing was not hot ,hyena got filled with debris and extruder stopped pulling filament down.

I'm printing with quality PLA ,motor has enough voltage, temerature is around 190C ,extruder gear is not slipping so I'm clueless about why is this happening

Any thoughts?

Luka
