Idea: Remember layouts fo each map

It would be really great if MapBook could save the information about
which layers are selected for each Page.

Example: One page would show only the street layer at scale 1:100000
but the next page would show streets and houses layer in 1:20000
scale. This way it would almost emulate the Layout feature found in
AutoCAD and probably in Manifold too.

Thank you all for developing this nice addon!

Hi Jukka,

Yes saving layers-per-page is definitely on the wishlist, as is saving
Graphic/Annotation Groups per page
(http://code.google.com/p/arcmapbook/issues/detail?id=9). You could
achieve the specific use case you mention with mapbook now by setting
Visible Scale Range[0] for each of the layers in combination with the
mapbook variable scale per page option.
