Customized DS Map Book Strange Behavior

Please help me!

I use your customized Map Book dlls with ArcGIS 9.3.1 (Build 3500). I realized a strange behavior in it. I’d like to create series of map sheets, and in some cases the “Scaled Local Indicator 36,667” frame does not zooms, and locates to the proper position of the main frame.

The sheets are the 1:10 000 scale maps of Hungary, and I recognized the wrong placement of sheets are appears in case of sheets which are in the border of country. (There’s no meaning.) I hope you have an idea, why my frame displace the map!

Hello Zsolt,

I don't know if this helps you or not, but sometimes I have to zoom to the map page twice before the data frame changes: From the Mapbook Table of Contents panel, change to a different page (2x-click on it), and then go back to the problem page (2x-click on it).

If this is not your problem or has no effect for you, perhaps try creating a map index that is bigger than the borders of Hungary, and then hide or don't use the pages that have no data.
